“Let us balance the massive destruction by the force of nature with our enormous capacity to care with compassion.”
Asian American Community Partnership Fund is established to help rebuild lives after Tsunami To the loss of close to 200,000 lives and the thousands more that are affected in the years to come, we have no word to express our sorrow. To balance such huge destruction by the force of nature, we would like to show our enormous capacity to care with our compassion. The AACP Fund is a commitment of at least 3 years to help rebuild the livelihood of many families that are headed by widows.
Our first fundraising event is held at our Lunar New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Asian American Cultural Center. We will have a garage sale of items that are under $100, silent auction of items that are over $100 and live auction of items that are over $500. We welcome your contribution of checks or items to this fundraising event. Asian American Community Partnership (AACP) is a non-profit 501c3 civic organization and donation is tax deductible as permitted by the law. Please make check payable to AACP Fund noted for survivors of Tsunami.
Together, we provide HOPE in the mist of despair. Thank you.
